Story Shorts is operated by MimiJohn LLC.

Your uploads

You confirm you own, or have permission to use, every photo and story you submit. You keep your rights; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to make your movie.

Consent for people and minors

If a photo shows a person, you confirm they consented. Photos of anyone under 18 require consent from their parent or legal guardian, and you confirm you are that person or have their permission.

No celebrities or trademarks

Don't submit real public figures, celebrities, brand logos, sports teams or copyrighted characters. We may refuse or replace them with generic equivalents.

Revisions

You can redo storyboard shots before you approve. After delivery, one free revision of the finished movie is included.

Refunds

If we can't deliver a movie that matches your approved storyboard, we will refund you in full.

Data retention

Uploads and your movie files are deleted automatically 30 days after your order.

How your movie is made

Your movie is digitally animated by our studio using licensed production tools and may contain small imperfections. Don't use it to deceive or impersonate anyone.
